Libraries have collections linked to particular subjects but are not restricted to any one group of students, for example a medical student can study at the Maughan Library or a Classics student at the Weston Education Centre, you can access them all with your King’s ID card.

You can see the subjects for each library on the map of subject collections.

You can find all our spaces dedicated for Postgraduate and PhD students in the guide to our Postgraduate spaces.

More information about each King's library, including floor plans, can be found via the links below.

Current opening hours for all the libraries.

Library access

Access to our libraries is under ongoing review as part of university-wide access arrangements, and we are aiming to increase access over the coming months. We will update access information once additional steps are confirmed.

Our libraries are currently closed to some external visitors (except for Special Collections and Archives), access is prioritised for current King’s students, staff, NHS members of the library, Alumni, eligible Independent Researchers, University of London (UoL) students and registered SCONUL Band-A users.
